His white hat is called a zucchetto, and he wears red shoes. But what does the Pope have to say to me?
About this Book:
What if the words of the Pope-or many popes-were offered in language so accessible that young Catholics could understand them? That is what Pauline Kids offers in the series of prayer books: Thoughts and Prayers of the Pope for Young Catholics.
With the permission of Libreria Editrice Vaticana, we have adjusted the often difficult vocabulary and sentence structure used by popes in ways that are faithful to the original texts, yet easy to read for young people. Centered on spiritual themes, and filled with stunning photographs, every page is a contemporary, four-color meditation space that encourages prayer, affirms Catholic identity, and expresses the unity and continuity of our faith through the ages. Each volume also includes a section of short biographies of the popes that have been met in its pages.
Praying with the Holy Father includes prayers of fourteen popes about a wide range of topics and concerns including: prayer, families, vocation, the Church, the world, difficult times, living the faith, the saints, and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
These four-color, designer, soft cover prayer books are perfect for sacramental gifts and can be used for private prayer or in school, religious education, or family settings.
