A boatload of beloved VeggieTales pals embarks on a fun and fresh pirate adventure with their trademark humor and fun songs.

Larry the Cucumber, Mr. Lunt, and Pa Grape find themselves on the ride of their lives when they are mysteriously whisked back to the time when pirates ruled the high seas. As they help a brave princess rescue her brother from a dastardly pirate villain, they battle evil Cheese Curls, giant rock monsters, and their own fears and become the most unlikely heroes you've ever seen. "This movie has such a beautiful message that I don't mind that I've already had to watch it a million times, and I know I'll have to watch it a million more. Movies these days, especially kids' movies, have all the wrong messages, but this one is different. Three vegetables that in their own environment are seen as losers because they don't have great jobs and are considered pushovers, are thrown by accident into an adventure where they are called to be heroes. They learn that to be a hero you don't need to be beautiful, have money, etc., you just need to do the right thing regardless of the consequences.
