It's the story of a young shepherd boy named Joel and his family as they kept watch over their sheep in the fields surrounding Bethlehem. Extra vigilance is needed on this particular night because wolves have been seen in the area. Joel is afraid to be alone, even though his pet lamb, Bramble keeps vigil with him. His fears are overcome when angels appear with the wonderful message that the Messiah has been born: the Christ Child is there among them. Based on a tale by American author Anobel Armour, this animated film blends a bit of whimsy with the poignant message of kindness, hope and love. 25 minutes.
