Praying with Women of the Bible brings the reader to encounters with these and other women, named and unnamed, who are at the heart of our story of faith. Using the approach of lectio divina, or "sacred reading", we move from listening, to meditation, to prayer, letting the responses of these women to God's word evoke a deeper response in our own hearts.
Utilizing scripture, meditation, prayer, and questions for the reader's own life, Bosetti crafts an insightful and enlightening analysis of the compelling women mentioned throughout Scripture.

What Are People Saying about this Title?
"Miles beyond other similar resources, Praying with Women of the Bible is a treasure and a revelation. Suitable for both individual and group use, this book is a substantive guide with a clear call to discipleship." Amy Welborn, Author, Mary and the Christian Life
"In this valuable work Dr. Bosetti lays the scriptural groundwork for a challenging task facing the Church. Using keen scriptural scholarship deftly transposed into pastoral prayer, she opens to us the significance of the women in scripture. She helps us begin the task of clarifying the distinct role of the feminine, in its own right, in salvation." Carla Mae Streeter, OP, Professor, Aquinas Institute of Theology, St. Louis, Missouri
"When you hear the word, woman, do you think love, mission, purpose? Sister Elena Bosetti does! With Mary as a special focus, Bosetti reaps the fruitfulness of the stories of women sown in Sacred Scripture; she teaches us, then challenges us!" M. Jean Frisk, STL, International Marian Research Institute, Dayton, Ohio
