What Are People Saying about this Title?

"As a family life minister, I especially appreciate the attention to the whole family system found in this resource. The Leader's Guide provides multiple connections between parent and child before, during, and following the group sessions. By following the well-organized meeting plans, facilitators will be able to work confidently with the children, while keeping parents in the picture and helping them build stronger relationships at home."
Lauri Przybysz, D.Min., Coordinator of Marriage and Family Life, Archdiocese of Baltimore

"The guide provides everything I need including materials lists, readymade advertisements, registration forms and handouts! I can just pick up the guide, gather my materials and facilitate the healing process. I am able to get to the parts of leading a group that I love...being fully present to each child and parent, without needing to research the pertinent issues and engaging activities. I love the structure of the guide. The 'Session Objectives' identify the phases of the group as well as the skills being developed. The 'Notes for the Facilitators' give me the inside scoop so it feels like I have the experience of having already run the group several times. Having the sessions broken down into timed segments serves as a great guide to being able to manage the length of discussions. The 'Warm up Activities' and the 'Book Work' are well coordinated and create an effective way of easing the participants into more challenging content. One of my favorite features is the way the guide allows the facilitator to customize the group content for session 4 based on the unique needs presented by the children in session 3. It allows flexibility while providing the structure and content needed to make the group meaningful for each child.

"Just what I needed to take the leap from thinking about starting and running a Catholic divorce/separation group to actual getting the group going!"
Christina Calabrese, LCSW-C, School Consultation Coordinator, Catholic Charities of Baltimore

"It's very easy to follow the guidelines and instructions in this E-Guide. I like how it breaks everything down so the facilitator is able to stay on task and follow along. The ice breaker activities are very helpful and the questions listed for the facilitator to ask are on target for the age group."
Mrs. Sarah Rech, LPC, School Counselor, Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School
