About this Book:
These prayers have been written by kids between the ages of 10 and 14. They come from all over the United States and Canada. They live in cities, in suburbs, and in rural communities. Some of them attend public schools, and some are home schooled. What do they all have in common?
All of them want to talk with God about their lives — and to listen to him, too. There are lots of different ways to pray, with or without words. There's no wrong way to pray.
In these prayers kids wrestle with challenges that include eating disorders, dealing with stress, and keeping up with schoolwork. They celebrate the joys of daily life with family and friends. They call on their favorite saints, God's friends in heaven, to help and support them. And they share their fears and grief about the many problems in our world. This remarkable collection of prayer — from a group of most remarkable young people — will inspire the readers to open their hearts to God, too.
